Three ways to ASTAG GU pricing
With the GU (Gemeinschaft Überlandverkehr), the Swiss road transport association ASTAG regularly publishes a pricing recommendation for the transport industry. Since version 2023, it is available on the web platform gu.astag.ch. As ASTAG's development partner, Xplanis AG offers three xGU products that make it easy to integrate this pricing into your systems and processes.

xGU brings the ASTAG GU functionality into Excel. Using Excel formulas, you can determine every ASTAG GU price (and much more). Our templates let you create price lists, quotes and invoices with ease – even in large numbers.

Pricing
Unless agreed otherwise, the subscription is concluded for one year and renews automatically for another year unless we receive a written cancellation from the customer. Invoices are issued annually in advance.

Download the latest version: Basis ASTAG GU 2027 (v2.8.0). Request your trial licence directly in the Excel Add-In – it is valid for 14 days. For a full licence or to increase your number of users, please email xgu@xplanis.com.

The web service can only be subscribed annually and renews automatically for another year unless we receive a written cancellation from the customer. Invoices are issued annually in advance.
These prices apply to end customers who implement the web service directly for their own system. Resellers, platform providers and integrators can contact us at xgu@xplanis.com for a quote – please include a rough estimate of your number of customers.

Frequently asked questions
I would like to try xGU. How do I proceed?
- Download and install xGU.
- After a successful installation, open Excel.
- In the “xGU-ASTAG” tab, click “Registrieren” (Register) to request a trial licence and follow the instructions.
- As soon as you have received your trial licence by email, xGU can be activated.
The “xGU-ASTAG” tab has disappeared and Excel shows “File XXXX not found” on startup.
The add-in may have been disabled. Re-enable it via “File → Options → Add-ins”.
Where can I find the xGU user manual?
- Via the Help button inside the add-in.
- In the Excel templates with use cases.
Can I use the latest GU version?
Yes. In the “xGU-ASTAG” tab you can check the current version or select another one. If the latest version is not available, please download the newest version and install it.
I want to switch to a different PC.
In the “xGU-ASTAG” tab, click “Registrierung” (Registration), choose “Lizenz vom Gerät löschen” (remove licence from device) and sign in with your licence key on the new device. If you no longer have access to your old device, please contact our support.
